Stop Looking at Your Phone
This project was a campaign of inconspicuous QR codes plastered around Vancouver, BC.
Playing off of humankind’s dependence on smartphones, the lone QR codes had no specific call to action other than simply existing. I placed the posters in locations that were often naturally beautiful lookout points to highlight the gap between technology and nature. Scanning the QR codes took engagers to a website that simply flashed the message in bright, bold colours: STOP LOOKING AT YOUR PHONE!
